Unless someone really invents a GROOMERATOR 3000, you will always have a job if you’re a dog groomer.

Pet owners need you!

If I had a dollar for every new pet owner that has come to my salon and said something like—

“This is Rusty, we just got him a couple of months ago. I thought I could bathe him and give him a haircut myself, but I just can’t do it!”

—I’d probably have enough money to buy a brand new car! Seriously, I’m not even joking.

Grooming isn’t something you can learn by just watching a video online, it’s a skill that takes quite a while to master. There are many different types of grooms for all of the different dog breeds and there are even specific hairstyles for cats.

My salon is booked up year-round, meaning that my schedule is always full. I even have to turn away new clients because my staff and I can only bathe and groom so many pets in a day.

In fact, I have even recently been thinking of opening a second salon in my city. I haven’t decided if I really need to do that, because I make plenty of money already.

And most of these people are giving me $50 - $100 each time they come to my salon, and that’s not even including the tips!
